A modular smart heating system featuring a hub, room controller, and radiator thermostats for the intelligent control of existing heating systems.
Challenge
High technological complexity behind the scenes, yet the systems are used in a sensitive residential environment. They should appear understandable, accessible, and trustworthy to both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy users.
Design
Development of a clear, understated design language across all system components. Minimalist, home-friendly geometries and an intuitive, familiar operating concept featuring a rotary control on the radiator thermostat.
Effect
Complex smart-home technology is translated into intuitive, user-friendly interactions. The minimalist design lowers barriers to use, promotes acceptance, and makes connected heating control suitable for everyday use.
