ESCHENBACH optaro XL – Foldable camera stand module for iPad-based magnification.
A mobile assistance system that transforms a standard iPad into a fully-fledged reading device.
Challenge
Large work surface combined with compact transport geometry, secure storage for various iPad cases and operation that is immediately understandable even for users with little technical affinity.
Design
Development of a clearly guided folding mechanism with defined support and fixing points for the iPad, high stability and free working space under the device. Free working space under the device for handwritten activities. A flat, form-fitting transport position.
Effect
A structurally clear and intuitive assistance system that combines mobility, stability, and user-friendly operation. The technology takes a back seat, while the benefits in everyday life take center stage.
