CREATIVE EXPERIENCE CASE EXAMPLE 1 Redesign of an existing illumina-ted magnifying glass product. The shape has been ergonomi-cally optimized. The black and white contrast divides the form comprehensibly into functional and operating elements. The product looks more valuable and more elegant. The design has improved the function. A medi-cal device became an elegant accessory. Switch position with remote effect: Breaking through the black / white separation clearly indicates the on / off position. Elliptical handle cross-section for more comfortable handling. Handling area (black). Functional area (white). Haptic pleasant outer contour runs evenly into grip contour. Black frame accentuates the high quality lens.

RESULT-ORIENTED PERFORMANCE

Since 1993 I have been in charge with product developing of miscellaneous  industries. The commonality of all projects is the human being, who is choosing and using a product. It is operated in the field of specific economic, utilisation and production boundary conditions as well as in the universe of different social groups with their specific expectations regarding life and the world of objects. This design work leads to better and more successful products, which are adapted to users and markets.

 

[d]tom product developments are realisable and consider the technical, economical and specific edge conditions. At the end the clients receive CAD data of the design, which can be directly implemented into the engineering process. The requirements from the client for a project can be very different, ranging from strategic concepts to accompanying support for the engineering design.
